GIRLS FAQ

1. Why Play Team 91?

Team 91 was started with one thing in mind. To provide an unparalleled level of teaching, that which is not seen in travel most organizations. Now in our eleventh year, our coaches are among some of the best in the game today! They include countless college All-American players as well as college and HS coaches. Some of the things that separate Team 91 from other travel teams:

• Hybrid Training by the Team 91 Directors for all offensive and defensive players, as well as special training for goalkeepers.

• Access to some of the most competitive and exclusive tournaments in the nation.

• The most giveaways and freshest gear around!

2. How will I know if I made a team?

Team rosters will be posted by tryout jersey numbers within 48 hours of the end of tryouts. If your number does not appear on any of the rosters, it does not mean that you will not make a team. Invitations will be ongoing until the team rosters are full.

3. How much does it cost to play for Team 91 New Jersey Girls?

Tuition costs vary year to year and also depend on the age group. Once tuition cost are announced they can be found on the Select Team Membership page.

4. Where does 91 NJ Girls Practice?

91 NJ Girls will practice at Middletown High School South for our outdoor practices unless otherwise notified. Indoor practice locations are not set and are subject to change.

5. When will I get my uniform and gear?

After we hold our Uniform Fitting in September or October, we have to order all of the gear for the team. Once all the apparel and the uniforms are delivered, inventoried and packaged we will schedule a Uniform Handout. Generally our handouts will take place between February and March. When they are scheduled, emails will be sent out to all the families in the program.

6. How will I find out more information about the tournaments we attend?

Almost all information regarding the tournaments will be posted to the "Girls Upcoming Events" page and to the team pages. When you click on the logo of the tournament, it will bring you to another informational page. Schedule and some other tournament information will not be released until the week of the event. As soon as we know the information, we will email it out to all the parents and players on our contact list.

7. Are tournaments mandatory?

YES! All players are expected to attend EVERY TOURNAMENT. Exceptions are only made if a players is injured and presents a doctor's note stating they are not allowed to play in the event.

8. How do I communicate with Team 91 NJ or my coach?

As a program, we communicate mostly through our registration email system and through TeamSnap. Some teams will use different apps, but not all do. You can check with your coach to see if there is another form or communication that they use.

To get in touch with our main office you can email Devan@team91lacrosse.com.

If your player is having any kind of issue with practices or tournaments the PLAYER must approach the coach at a practice and ask to speak with them. We discourage parents from bringing up the problem before the player speaks to the coach. Most issues are easily resolved by just having a player communicate with the coach.

9. Where and how can I pay my tuition?

Each of our teams has a registration site where we set up payment plans for your tuition. We accept payments online through the registration system via credit card. We do not accept checks or cash for tuition payments.

10. What is the Refund Policy?

Once a player commits to playing for Team 91 after tryouts, that spot is theirs. Player is committing to the full-year program as well as annual tuition. There are no refunds if players miss practices or tournaments. To receive a refund, prorated or otherwise, another player must fill that player's roster position.  If the player misses time because of an injury, a doctor's note must be supplied for any refund consideration. Refunds will not be issued for any processing fees that are paid during registration. It is a requirement for registration to waive rights to refunds for any reason.
